German Shepard/Great Pyrenees Mix, Female, 5 months old

We are looking for a new home for our German Shepard/Great Pyrenees Mix. She is 5 months old and was born Sept. 9th. We have her vet records and has had her first 2 rounds of shots and checkups but will still need her last round of puppy shots. Brinkley is such a sweet girl. She is very playful and smart and loves playing with kids especially. There was a change in our property management company so our lease changed and no longer allowed for pets. We were devastated and had some very dear friends offer to foster her until we are ready to purchase a home and move. She was doing great potty training until we had to move her to their home. Due to our schedules, she never had to go longer than 6-8 hours without being let outside. However, they are gone 10-12 hours at a time so she has gone backwards due to having to hold it so long. It just isn't fair to expect her to hold her puppy bladder that long and the tough decision has been made to find her a new permanent family who can work better for her. We'd love to have another family foster her until we can move but that would just be cruel to keep moving her around. She needs someone who either has a doggy door or who doesn't have to crate her longer than 6-8 hours at a time, preferably a family with kids because she absolutely loves playing with kids. She could also be an outdoors dog but that just wasn't something we opted to do.We're very concerned about making sure she goes to a great home willing and able to take great care of her so we spoke with our vets office to get advice. They recommended a few things and we are going to follow their advice:1) Make sure to ask for a rehoming fee that covers your expenses and shows that the family is able and willing to invest in a dog and take good care of it when it needs vet care2) Ask for a reference from their current or previous vet to make sure they have taken good care of their pets in the past3) Try and find a family that has children since your dog loves playing with kidsWe would consider a new home for Brinkley that doesn't have kids if you have other dogs or are very active yourself. She has had most of her shots and vet checks, just needs one more visit to finish so the typical costs associated with a new puppy will not be additional expenses to you. We're asking for a rehoming fee of $500.Serious inquiries only if interested in setting up a time to meet. I can be contacted by phone or text at ([removed phone]-XXXX.
